I have a couple different sizes of glue guns and neither one would fit on this stand. I was really hoping it would work, it's a great concept though.

Does NOT fit a glue gun, top part of holder doesn't remove like pictures suggest. Not worth my time to return so I'll try and modify it to work by cutting it. I don't even think it would fit a mini very well.

The stand is constructed well and I like the suction cups to keep it put. The unfortunate part is that the main picture shows the holder as square and open on the top which would fit my glue gun. When you scroll thru the pictures the other one shown is an enclosed circle which does not hold the gun I purchased it for. There is no option to select the square or round holder and the picture that comes in my order history is the square one I wanted. Will see if it works with my other glue gun I have.

I have been crafting for the past 45 years with a trusty hot glue gun. Some came with a wire stand to prop it up, but most did not. Therefore, I have been using paper plates to lay my glue gun on. Well, I know this is not the best, or safest choice, it is what I had on hand that worked and could be discarded. Therefore, when I came across this hot glue gun base, I knew I had to try it. The way this base is set up, it appears to be universal to hold any glue gun because the glue gun just sits in the bracket with the glue tip nozzle pointing down, resting against the side of the brackets. It even has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place. It worked great! I no longer have to peel paper plate remnants off the side of my glue gun. Yippee!
