This turns to a blue gel when you add water. Do not stir it with your finger - it stains the skin.My chicks are loving this stuff! I mix up a little each day so they eat it as a supplement to their food for the first few days. They gobble it up and take a nap. I’ve used this gel for years, and have always had healthy chicks. Would recommend!

I believe this stuff kept my chicks alive, it made roughly 2 batches for 10 chicks and I never lost one , I could see a boost in energy shortly after they consumed it .

Three of my 8 chicks from MPC died in a matter of days, so I do not know what to think.

This is a very tiny package. They make it look much larger on the picture. Just be aware there’s not much in there.

Hatched some baby quail without a momma hen and they didn't want to eat anything that wasn't alive and moving. This bird jello kept them alive long enough to figure out that crumbles and seeds could be eaten. Though they would finish off any jello first as they prefer it to the other stuff.
