Good headliner.

The actual quality of the fabric is very good, the fax suade looks realy good and the foam looks similar to the manufacturer type. One thing that could be an issue for some applications is there is very little stretch in this material, so if you have any significant curves and bends in your vehicle's roof, or whatever you will apply this too, it could make it a challenge to install this without creases in it. Also it does not come with adhesive already, you will need 3M super 77 or similar spray adheasive to install this. If all of these points fits what you will be using it for, then its good fabric for the money, Recommend.Edit: noticed after the review that the image advertises "Good Elasticity" I find this to not be true, as I pointed above. It is not very strettchy at all. tthe foam probablly would stretch a little, but the suade itself is not a stretchy material and so severely limits how much you can stretch it. To illustrate how much it "stretches", if I grab about a foot length of the material, and pull as hard as I can, I can only move it about half an inch of stretch. I don't call that "good elasticity", and have used headliner material with much better stretch than that (although not suade) I have removed a star for the false claim.

96" x 60" it is not. I got 93" x 58". So this might lead to not enough fabric on sides. Thickness was at my max an min 3.2mm and 2.7mm which is roughly 1/8". Not too big of a deal if going flat. You start to run into problems if the headliner has deep valleys or tight curves. The material doesn't stretch very much at all, this is probably due to the suede texture and how it's manufactured. The color and texture is soft and has a suede type nap, and lays down smooth. You will need at least 2 people for proper installation due to all the possibilities that could go wrong. Luckily this is valued correctly so it not that bad to order a second roll.

This is my first time working with this stuff so maybe some of my points will be normal for this type of material… so, do with this review what you will. I was hovering between a 3 and a 4 on this review but in the end I don’t think I’ll actually use it… so, a 3 it is.First, before I opened it, I was impressed by how much there was. It came in a big, tall, roll rather than compressed into as small a bundle as possible for shipping. So, that was a plus!I accidentally lightly nicked it while opening with a utility knife (totally my fault) but when I went to inspect it, the foam had sliced very easily… this may be a plus or negative, depending on what you’re looking for, I guess. I just knew I’d have to be very careful. Then when I got it all the way open, I was confused at first because I thought they had just send a roll of black foam (and the picture actually shows white foam- which is beside the point). I looked closer and realized that it was just that the suede side is just really really dark. Not at all like the picture. I took it into the brightest room under direct sunlight and also under some bright lights for the pictures. Even then, the pictures make it look much lighter than it actually is. It’s much darker than what I was expecting and won’t really fit my needs. Still, I pushed forth. Feeling the surface, I thought maybe I should put on some lotion because it didn’t have the alcantara feel I was expecting. Maybe it would feel different when actually installed? The look is OK… it’s not wonderful, but I think it would pass. The foam is a decent thickness, but the material is very thin. I did a cut test and it doesn’t cut easily with a light pressure swipe (the blade is also pretty dull) but a medium pressure push did punch right through.I think that I’ll rather keep looking than spend the time and effort installing this and end up wishing I didn’t.That being said- if you have more experience with this type of material- you might not see these as flaws?

The Suede Auto Headliner Fabric with foam backing is a high-quality material perfect for DIY projects. I used it to cover wooden shelves for a safe, giving them a luxurious, professional look. The dark gray color is rich and versatile, suitable for various applications. The 96" x 60" size is generous, providing plenty of material for larger projects. The foam backing adds a cushioned feel, making it ideal for custom interiors. It’s easy to cut and adhere, even for someone with minimal crafting experience. The fabric is durable and doesn’t fray easily. For the price, it’s a great value for creative or repair projects. This material exceeded my expectations for quality and ease of use. It works well for my use and I think it would make a great headliner if a pro were to install it. It isn't thin, it has foam underside so it's a bit thicker.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this suede auto headliner fabric. The dark gray color is rich and looks even better in person—perfect for giving my car’s interior a clean, upgraded look. The foam backing made installation much easier and helped it adhere smoothly without any sagging or wrinkles. At 96" x 60", it provided more than enough coverage for my SUV roof with some leftover for other small projects. The material feels durable yet soft, and it really elevates the overall interior vibe. Great value for the price—highly recommend for anyone tackling a headliner replacement!

This is my second time ordering from Hiksuky after a great result using their headliner fabric for a full interior color change on an SUV. I purchased the larger 96 by 60 inch roll for a fiber optic starlight ceiling build on a balcony. The material showed up in perfect condition thanks to the tube packaging. The synthetic suede has a soft texture with a deep, rich gray tone that looks sharp in any setting. The foam backing makes installation smooth and gives the fabric a professional appearance once installed. It’s a reliable product I’ll keep coming back to for future projects.
