As a mobile church, we unfortunately misplaced the crank handle for our speaker stands, leaving us with a square bit sticking out of the stand that needs to be twisted to raise and lower the center column but no easy way to get it to go up and down. With this 1/2" female pipe plug socket, we can now use a standard adapter on the 1/2" drive side, chuck that up in a cordless drill, and raise and lower the speaker stands in a jiffy. I also got a 1/2" ratchet wrench so we can use that in case the drill battery dies. Two speaker stands back in business now!

So far so good. Got at a great price, so I ordered two. Managed to work off a couple of bolts on a tractor using an impact wrench with no visible wear.

Perfect for removing the square sump plug bolt in my old tractor. These are a bit hard to come by, so was glad this was available on amazon. The price was great and the quality is very good.

Second time I am buying this. Both for specific applications to adapt to a square drive. For the price it is worth just buying one for each location I need it.Most recent purchase was to use for the square drive of the wheel winch on the back of the GMC pickup I just bought. The most important of the wheel tools was missing, but with this I can use the square on the end of a 22" extension and use the impact to do the up/down of the winch. This will live with the extensions in the cab of the truck
