Although it's not apparent from just looking at them, the two caps I received (one black, one blue) fit differently with the black one feeling notably tighter than the blue one.Other than that, I can't really think of any negatives with these caps. I wore the blue one under my cycling helmet in 85+ F, full sun and it felt fine. Granted, it's been like 25% humidity during the day here for a while, so I don't know how it would be in the summer when it's 100+F and 100% humidity out on the road.Because of how they're designed, I can either pull them down over my ears for cooler conditions, or double up the head band area for extra sweat management (this is how I wore it todasy), or have a single layer head band with the top of the cap being poofed up to accommodate a larger volume of hair (a problem I do not have :-).The bill is very short and wide, but seems to work OK for blocking some afternoon sun. Some of my cycling caps' bill is longer and have a plastic stiffener inside to keep it from drooping, but inevitably the plastic cracks/breaks and the bill is irregular, but still functional. The bill on this cap seems to be made of a thick foam or some thing that seems able to maintain its general shape (at least for now when it's new), but even if it droops eventually, it's short enough that it won't obstruct my vision.I knock off half a star for the slight size inconsistency, rounded up to five stars.

The distinguishing feature of this skull cap is its integrated visor. Without the visor, it would closely resemble other skull caps, such as Taqiyahs or bandanas. The visor is slightly smaller than that of a Jockey helmet. Additionally, the visor can be positioned on the back, providing another advantage of this design.I find this hard hat liner to be an excellent choice for both bicycle and construction workers, as well as for use during gym sessions. For the hats with uneven surfaces on the inside (such as big logos stitched onto the fabric), this liner can serve as a protective barrier, preventing unwanted marks on the forehead. One feature I would appreciate is the ability to select a visor color that matches the cap, enhancing its streamlined appearance.

i'm an old dude who likes to cycle. What I lack in hair (I'm as bald as a cue ball), I make up for with enthusiasm for the sport. The only complaint I have about being a bald cyclist is that lacking hair means that if I lower my head while on a long hot ride, streams of sweat come rolling down my face from beneath my helmet and often runs into my eyes. These cycling hats do the trick to soak up the sweat before it has the chance to run into your eyes.I really like the fit & finish of these hats. They look to be well put together and have great stitching. They fit my medium-sized head very well and have enough space to probably fit larger sized heads or people with more hair than myself. I also like the little brim on these caps. I think they look best in the downward position, but they also can be flipped up based on your preference. These caps were a good find, and I'll probably get more. 5 stars!

This cap is very comfortable to wear and works well under my bike helmet. It fit nicely and helps to protect my head from the helmet moving around. The helmet goes over the cap with out any problems and it helps to keep the helmet in place while riding. The caps are light weight and cool to wear. There are two in the pack so I can have one at the ready while the other is in the laundry. I've been wearing a dew rag before these and these are much easier to put on and are more comfortable then the dew rag.

Skull cap fits okay, and does a nice job of keeping my hair out of my face because it has good coverage. The "visor" doesn't do anything at all; it just isn't big enough to shield the eyes from sun. I guess the main purpose is to identify the front of the cap.

These look great, with what looks to be and feels like a good moisture sticking material and seems to do the job when I sweated in them. The stitching seems to be done well and they seem durable. They are not chintzy.I like the design - a cross between a skullcap and a short brimmed biking cap. It looks very much like a bike cap. My wife does not like it because of this but I kind of like the old school bike caps and this looks like one and can pass for a modernized design, I suppose. The black is nice and the yellow is very high visibility, whether showing through a helmet or running while wearing it.The brim is just wide enough to provide a little shade for the eyes but not too long to stick out too far, especially under a helmet. You can also flip the brim up and it stays, like a regular bike cap. Seems to stay well under the helmet, flipped up like this. The only downside is that both are slightly looser that I would like until the edges are rolled up, then they fit nicely and tightly.I thought at first these could be used to cover the ears when it was cool but for me there isn't quite enough to stay covered, so I will use during warmer parts of the year.I did try them under my helmet on a fairly cool day and they really aren't warm enough. So they're great for warmer seasons and for exercising indoors, which really is what I wanted them for. And they do a good job for that, with just a quick roll of the edges.Addendum April 23, 2025 - I had to take a star off from my review after washing the skulcaps. When I went to put on the yellow one I felt something sharp against my head near the front and found that there is a wire that keeps the brim straight and must have slid partially out of the side during washing and was pressing against my head. I bent it until it broke off and discarded it and the skullcap and brim were just fine, but something to watch out for.
