My OEM line lasted 20 years. This one is dimensionally the same, came with new crush washers, and installed quickly on my 02 Impreza Outback.I've read that people have occasionally had issues bleeding the slave cylinder after replacing the hose. I've never had an issue, either on turbo Subaru's (with the pull clutch) or naturally aspirated Subaru's (with a push clutch).General procedure:First, clean out your reservoir. Mine was full of settled black junk on the bottom, perhaps the degraded bits of the old rubber hose. It doesn't hurt to also take off the slave cylinder, pull the boot, and clean it up as well. Then I've found it best to bleed the reservoir and hard line first (via pumping and gravity), then install the hose. You can get it fairly close to bled with a single person by pumping up the clutch pedal until it almost keeps itself up (but not quite), then use the spring on the pedal itself to provide pressure while opening the bleeder screw. But, it takes two people to fully bleed the system as you can't hold pressure on the pedal and release the bleeder screw at the same time once you've half bled it.Anyhow, good value.
