Not sure what size handrail it is designed for but I had to take one side of the zipper of and move it by an inch to get the cover to fit tightly on my pools handrail.

Keep it real… It did a decent job at 1st with covering the hot Arizona pool hand rail but after about 3 months I had little blue flakes floating in my pool from this product deteriorating and pretty much only got 3 months use out of it!!! So once again… I’d purchase another product if you want a longer term solution!!! I’d give it 4/10.

this was so cheap, it fell apart before anyone even touched it. I guess the sunshine was enough to destroy it. Don't waste your money on this cheap handrail cover

UPDATE - 1 Year LaterAs I expected, the cover has deteriorated in the Arizona sun after 1 year. It is flaking off in places and must be replaced. This is the second cover I have tried, the last one from a different supplier lasted 14 months.Original Review -This handrail cover has a surface covered with little rubbery circles on a base of material that is similar to the stuff a wet suit is made of. The circles are described on the product page as “epoxy," but it feels like silicone rubber to me. Either way, they add some “grippiness” to the cover and an improved feel over the last cover I had.It took us about 2 minutes to zip it into the pool handrail with a zipper that glides smoothly the whole six-foot length once you get it started. Our previous cover used a hook-and-loop Velcro®-like closure that was much more difficult to attach straight and tight. I like the zipper design much better. In the Arizona sun, I do not expect these to last forever. Eventually, the neoprene fabric dries out and starts to shed, and I’m hoping that the added rubber dots on this one help protect it a bit longer, but the previous one from another manufacturer lasted 14 months. At the price, though, I think it’s reasonable to expect annual replacement.Without the cover, the pool handrail will reach dangerously high temperatures, besides being slippery when wet. This cover solves both problems with an elegant solution.

When you've had a pool handrail for 15+ years, it starts to get small rust spots everywhere and has a rough feeling. They do get rather hot in the beating sun each day too. This handrail sleeve helps with both of those issues. Plus, we just got a new liner and it matches perfectly. It's not often that you get to accessorize your pool. It didn't come with directions so I just slapped it on and zipped it up. I didn't need to do the soaking and dish soap, but perhaps my handrail is skinnier than others. The cover does move where I can put the zipper facing down and then a week later after use, the zipper is on the side. For that reason, it's not the perfect grip for us. But I still love having it.

Fits our handle. Not as hot now, so next summer will be true test.
