We needed a heater to at least maintain water temp for above ground, 5,000 gal pool. This does so. Happy with it.

We have a 4300 gallon pool (16*9*4). We have a solar cover but our property is very shaded so our pool never got above 68 degrees. I did not was to spend thousands on a heater and found this one. The reviews were ok and the price was right. It came a week sooner than it was promised. We hooked it up Saturday when the pool was 68 and outdoor temps were in the 70s. We ran the filter/heater for about 12 hours a day and by Tuesday the water 82 degrees. It seems to be working well so far but does take a few days, this is not an instant or even an overnight fix for a bigger pool. Couple things to note...the fittings on this are for 1.5 inch tubing and our pool fittings were 2.25 inch. We went to our local hardware store and we're able to find some adaptors to make it work. It does come with the hose clamps, but no extra tubing. It was super easy to hook up and the instructions were pretty straight forward. The other thing which is no big deal, is that the temp settings are in Celsius, so we had to Google the conversions, but again...no big deal. I would definately recommend so far!
