I put a receiver on my sport side by side and this mount works well. Just make sure your receiver is solid because they is a lot or weight with leverage sticking out there

Had this professionally installed and it fit like a dream. This is the mounting devise to hold a dump bucket and snow blade on a utility vehicle. When you live in Michigan you need all the help you can get with snow. The kit did not come with the screws needed to complete the job so when using it, don't forget to purchase them as well.

I bought this for my 2008 Kawasaki mule following the picture on the Internet that shows an actual Kawasaki Mule but they didn't really sell the front receiver for it so I creative my own.I went to Harbor freight tools and grab a cheap receiver that I was able to customize,I removed the fromt bumper and I was able to put my plow with this attachment it works really good now but you need to add just a little more support to make The receiver hold the plow

I purchased this UTV Universal Receiver Mounting Kit with the dump bucket for my 2006 Rhino 660. I installed exactly per instructions, and used a 4500 lb winch for power. I noticed the Rhino receiver hitch has about 5 to 6 inches from the front hitch receiver bolts to the back ones (front hitch). As the front hitch bolt area represents the fulcrum of any load applied to the hitch, the 5 to 6 inches to the rear of the front hitch bolted area represents a huge multiplication of forces. The bucket assembly represents about 90 lbs at about 48 inches to this fulcrum. When the bucket is extended to bring in a load, the force on the Rhino front hitch rear bolts is about 8 times the bucket weight, or about 720 lbs. If you pick up 150 lbs of material the total load on the rear of the hitch attachment is about 1920 lbs!The result is that your UTV hitch/winch area WILL BEND, as mine did!The ATV Universal Receiver Mounting Kit is actually a much better design, as the "torque" tube running the length of the ATV frame represents a distribution of forces, in that the fulcrum arm is the length of the ATV frame (or close to it's length). There is no intense multiplication of forces as is the case with the UTV kit.The UTV accessory adapter needs a receiver down tube which would drop down slightly below the UTV frame / undercarriage. This would be a standard hitch (trailer end) with a hole(s) for the retainer pin. A tube would be inserted which would run the length of the frame. Another receiver insert drop down would slide into the rear receiver hitch. With a sufficient number of adjustment holes, or clamp kind of slider on the rear drop-down, one could adjust to fit virtually any UTV.With this kind of design, one could use their UTV to operate the dump bucket. Until the Swisher folks figure out how to design within the laws of simple physics -- Do Not purchase this kit for anything except the blades. If you use it with the dump bucket, you will warp/bend the front hitch mounting framework, and will possibly break some UTV frame welds. As it is, I intend to modify my Receiver Mounting Kit, to provide a properly designed product.

Got the swisher mount for my 2008 Arctic Cat Prowler 550 to use a plow on. Works in the 2" mount along with the winch I already had in place, Only issue I had was that I had to remove the plactus front grill to get it to slide all the way in. No big thing since it only took me 5 minutes to pull that off.
