Product Description

Safety Arm EBC Banner

Would you rather squat heavy? Or squat safely? How about BOTH?!

Our Synergee Safety Arms are strong, steel extensions to add on to your 2x2-tube Squat or Power Rack. These Arms extend 15.5" from your rack uprights to hold or catch your barbell while you're working out! These Safety Arms are layered with thick, UHMW plastic bolted in place to protect your barbell from metal-on-metal contact. This means you can easily clear the J Cups for your lift and set yourself up for a comfortable squat or press; and then, if you need to bail, you can do so without wincing! These arms are a must have for serious lifters who want to test their limits safely AND keep their bar safe from damage, too.

The Safety Arms are black powder-coated steel and can hold up to 750lbs. They are compatible with our Synergee Squat and Power Rack, or any other 2x2 tube racks with 1" holes.

SPOTTER ARMS

Putting your trust in your workout buddy to catch you should you need to bail out of your squat or bench press can be... stressful. But worry no more: our safety arms can spot you! Note: You will still need to use proper bailing technique to ensure safety.

REDUCE METAL ON METAL CONTACT

Our Safety Arms are made with a layer of UHMW Plastic, which provides a barrier between the metal, knurled shaft of your barbell and the metal arms. This layer of plastic helps you avoid metal on metal contact to soften the blow your barbell will take when you drop it on the Safety Arms.

SECURE RACK MOUNT

Our Safety Arms attach to your Rack with multiple points of contact for a safe & stable lifting experience. The mounting peg slides easily into the 1"-opening and when the arm rotates into place, the additional mounting supports wrap around the rack tube so it is kept in place on 3 sides.

SQUAT HEAVY

When squatting, set the Safety Arms just below where the barbell stops at the bottom of your squat. The arms will be able to catch the barbell should you find yourself stuck, but they will also be out of the way if you've got the squat under control! Squatting with confidence is essential to squatting heavy - and our Safety Arms will definitely help with that!

Safety Arms EBC 5

REMOVE/ADJUST EASILY

Our Safety Arms will stay securely in place when you're lifting, and can easily be removed and adjusted when needed. The versatility and adjustability of these Safety Arms means your rack can easily transition from being a stellar lifting station, to a place to do pull ups, ring dips, band work and more. Easy to set up, and easy to get out of the way.

PRESS MORE WEIGHT!

Bench presses are awesome, but they can also put you in a vulnerable position! With these Spotter Arms, you can lift heavy and safely when you set them just above chest height (when you're lying on your bench). Then you can press til you can't - literally! Our Safety Arms will catch the bar when you run out of steam.

Fits better than others I tried, is actually a solid steel one inch peg and not just a sleeve. It's also the longest and holds the most weight over the others I like it, definitely makes me feel safe when squatting now.

I own a REP Fitness Short PowerRack-1050 series, 2x2" with hole size 1". Rep doesn't sell safety arms for my power rack. I purchased these and they fit just fine!! I am happy with my purchase.

I’m a garage gym rat. These work great for my purposes. Please note: 1: I don’t squat more than 315. 2: These arms don’t have the rear tightening knob like many spotter arms. 3: The sturdiness these of arms won’t mean nothing if your half rack isn’t securely BOLTED into the ground (the length/leverage of the arms will tip the rack over if say you put a 300 lb barbell on the end of the arms. It’s just basic physics.
