The only negative is the very low, barely usable light output of the flashlight. The rest of the features of this product make sense and they function as intended. This stun gun is of full aluminum construction and it uses a user replaceable 21700 li-ion rechargeable battery. Charging is done by a barrel plug with two charging adapters included; one a 110V wall charges and another a 12V car charger.Flashlight function is activated by a multi-mode, 3-position sliding switch. Three modes are Off, flashlight position and stun gun position.First flashlight position activates the light, and by repeated switching the mode is changed between full; and low brightness and strobe modes. All modes aver very, very dim and barely usable as a flashlight, even though the head has a built in twist type zoom.Third position is the stun gun mode, and to activate the stun gun there is a small push button on the other side of the sliding switch.Stun gun function works as intended, and there are dual discharge arcs snapping across correct contacts. One additional feature is a glass breaker integrated into the battery compartment cap. Given solid construction of aluminum body I have no doubt that the glass breaker also functions as intended.Overall this is a very sound and usable kit, with the only flaws of very low flashlight functionality, and low end switch type and charging features.Overall, for the asking price with is a very function stun gun that's great to keep in a vehicle.

This is a nice stun flashlight for those looking for non-lethal items to carry in your car. The stun part is loud and powerful and would definitely hurt an attacker. I think my criticism however is the light itself. It is not very high lumen and thus the strobe setting would not be very disorienting. So for practical use, this might be an item one just stows away in their glove box or door side panel. I don't see using this for the flashlight feature much personally, as I have stronger flashlights that are more portable. Overall though, a nice stun flashlight.
