My wife and I, along with other friends have these SupYaks/Kayaks. She has the 10'6 and I HAVE THE 11'6". The storage pack is awesome and we take them camping. Buy a 12 volt pump! We have a Shark and love it. Pumping it by hand is not the way to go. Not the best SupYak and not the best Kayak, but pretty good at both, which is what we wanted. Doesn't blow around too much in the wind. Seats are comfortable. Deflate a bit when not using, especially in the sun. I learned this the hard way. Had to buy a new one and they sent me the wrong item. It was immediately corrected. We had some normal wear issues and customer service has been very helpful about steps to follow. I would highly recommend.

Steady and big. Tough to pump up, I would suggest an electric pump. Overall good product.

Like the other 1 star reviews, poorly made. Less than 5 minutes out of the water and it blew a 1 foot hole in the side. Didn’t even pump past 10 psi. Customer service and warranty claim are non existent, 1 month and multiple claims and emails later and no response. Would not recommend this brand

My wife and son love their SUP YAKs. Highest quality and stable in the water. Take my advice. Make sure you buy a powered inflator which can deflate too. battery powered unless you can keep your car or truck close to launch or extraction point. They make a proprietary connector that attaches to most compressor hoses.

I bought this inflatable paddle board at WestMarine as a mothers day gift for my wife. The very first time we used it we left if in our boat swim platform to go have lunch. Some time afterwards we heard a loud hissing sound followed by an explosion. Apparently the paddle board overheated and exploded due to higher air pressure caused by the sun’s heat. It left a 1 foot gash on the side making useless and unrepairable. I then noticed it says on the board not to let it sit on the sun as this may happen and , therefore , bye bye warranty. No doubt that was my fault. However it is NOT my fault , and actually theirs, that they built such poorly designed paddle board that cannot stand common outdoor heat. Its beyond me why they did not install a simple pressure release valve or something. Regardless I wasted close to $800. Good thing is it will never happen again who wants to deal with this stress of releasing air, adding air, releasing air, check the valve etc etc. We feel like we were robbed.

We've had this sup-yak for a few months now and still love it. We've been taking it out a few times a week. I've mostly been using it as a kayak. It handles very well. I've used it in strong currents, flat water, lakes, creeks, river, and the beach. I've taken it out after hurricane blew through & water was a little rough. Waves up to 1.5 ft, & it's handled very well. I have only used it as a sup 1x & will more to help with balance (It's just getting cooler & I don't want to fall in the cold water!) We're thinking about getting a 2 person one too. We've had people stop us & ask about it.
