I unfortunately haven't had the time to install this dryer on my compressor, so my review is on the quality & design.This dryer has an molded aluminum body, what i believe is a polycarbonate clear desiccant housing, and a protective aluminum shroud that covers it. The PC interior is pretty thick and the aluminum shell is roughly 18-20 gauge. If you mount it in a high traffic area it should be able to handle your normal bumps into it. Overall i would say the build quality is fairly decent, but there is a design flaw.Most air dryers have a bleed off/drain valve on the bottom (where the giant nut is located). I disassembled the dryer to see if it is possible to mount a valve in the bottom, but you can't, as it is a solid shaft. So for safety sake, I will have to make an in-line bleed off valve to make sure pressure is relieved if I have to move my compressor.

The product work as intended in providing an air dryer for the my compressor, however the packaging and especially the dessicant material that was provided had the entire product covered in black dust.Otherwise I would recommend this for the cost!

Drier air, easy-to-drain condensate collectorNo real qualms with this. The machining is good enough, though the included Teflon tape didn't quite do it for me. I put the included valve right before the filter housing not only for easier changing of the desiccant but also to more easily allow for the room that the filter housing itself required to hang vertically. A gauged regulator valve, and it's good to go.No problems yet. The black dust, which was included free of charge, is almost gone. There was dust all over, and I'm glad this was unpackaged where it was, and not in an office. I'm told that's from the desiccant packs. Those were nice to have. Not everyone may know they actually go inside the cylinders.Desiccant beads can be reused by microwaving or heating at low temperature in an oven, but don't overdo the heat or time, whichever route is taken. Remember to bleed the tank(s) once in a while too. Good product, and looking forward to smoother operating tools, especially air guns and other tools. This kit, along with good tool lubricating oil, can help tools last a long time.More about finalized installation. I did have to tweak the tape a bit and did eventually end up using a bit of goop on top. That also made it easier to get the fittings right where I want them, but that's no big deal. I didn't want to over-stress any components. There was a brass fitting nearby that was unable to be used due to too much torque and warped threads. Being as this kit contained both brass and iron components, I treated it all like brass.The o-ring keeping the filter housing tight works well for sealing; no issues yet. No goop or tape on the threads either; something I like about rubber washer-sealed connections. Time will tell how long the o-ring lasts. It did (easily) fall out in warmer temperatures, but it sticks to the housing so much better in colder temperatures. There is now a message "don't drop o-ring" scribbled on the housing. Good product.

The aluminum enclosure should hold up with our mobile dual purpose Tig / Plasma welding cart. We use desiccant beads for 3D printing and will re-dry beads for re-use. The included fittings will handle most applications, but we’ll add shut-off valves and quick disconnect fittings for our application.

Was instructed that I needed to dry out the compressor air for my plasma cutter and I complied. This works exactly as it should for that purpose. I'm mounting this closer to the plasma cutter as that is the more mission critical piece of equipment that needs this.

Glad it came with the beads so you're ready to go on day 1. The imbedded arrows on the top are nice so they are unable to wear off. My future self appreciates this.This DOES NOT come with instructions but it's not too difficult to figure out.Helpful tip: do not unscrew the bolt on the bottom. To take it apart all you need to do is unscrew the large red ring that holds the red cover and clear jar to the top. The metal rod in the center just comes out with the clear jar part. Then just fill with the beads and screw it back on.The metal cover does make me feel a bit better in case the jar part ever decided to rapid dissemble.Ran my tools just like normal with this attached. It's versatile enough that you can plug it directly into the air compressor or run a short hose and mount it somewhere. It does not come with any type of mounting hardware.I did get a few of the beads wet and they do change to a purple/pink so you will absolutely notice the difference once they absorb water. they seem to just get lighter and lighter in color.Overall no complaints and seems to do what it should.

Works as expected. Assembled everything without any leaks. Nice that it came with teflon tape so I didn’t have to go digging for mine. Couple extra air fittings were nice.
