Use these on my Tama Rockstar DX set. I don't like toms in the bass drum and two of these with some Gibraltar clamps allow my to have a great setup. The 90's Rockstar has big toms. These are great!

Bought this to upgrade the rack that came with my TD 17 KV kit. It fits!!!! (it's 10.5mm on the L Rod)You can't beat the flexibility of an omni-ball mount.

Very solid - are currently holding my 12" & 14" Sonor Phonic toms without issues. Very easy to adjust. I'm switching to the Tama from the Yamaha because of Yamaha's bolt deficiency, even though you have to swap out the tom mounts. (Not an issue for me since I had my original Tama mounts for my R.I.M.S. Not a big deal anyway because the actual mounts aren't very expensive to swap out.) I believe the 'vertical' vs. 'horizontal', a.k.a. Tama vs. Yamaha choice may be dependent upon your particular setup, but I'm going with the Tama from now on, even with my 16" floors.
