I bought this item based on the description even thought it only rated 3.5 stars. When I tried to install it, it didn't fit the mounting holes. When I tried to return it, the company wanted photos as proof but by then I had already replaced the spring with an OEM spring and wasn't going to go thru the hassle of taking the new one off just to get the photo they wanted. Too much effort for a $6 piece! I simply put the company on my list of who NOT to buy from. Thanks, TCMT, for your lack of customer service.

Make sure you get the correct size spring for your bike. If you don't have a motorcycle jack, you can use the jack from your auto for the bike for this purpose. I used the jack from my Ram and it worked like a charm. It took me less than 15:00 minutes to install this new spring.
