used to keep door closed on a little free library I made. works where sash lock wouldn't and a gate latch was too bulky. a bargain at twice the price.

Nice clasps but no mounting hardware. So now off to hardware store where I could have bought the clasps and mounting hardware in one trip. Door lock with no key????

Very strong latches, nothing bad to say about them. Got them to upgrade an old cooler, and couldn't be happier. Easy to operate one-handed as the shackle part stays retracted when you unlatch them and return the spring-loaded toggle to the original position, then just as easy to re-latch. Highly recommended if you are looking for spring loaded catches of this size!

Used it to secure the rear door on a diesel zero turn mower that originally came with a rubber ball style bungee. This holds securely and doesn't vibrate. It is lighter gauge material so there could be a wear issue with all the vibration from a diesel but I only used one of the pair so if it lasts a few years I've got a spare.

Had an old cooler that got a rebuild. These little latches worked great for sealing the old cooler lid. Highly recommended.

I welded the latches in place. If I ever do need to replace them, it works for me this way, I can just cut the welds

Saw a video on YT abt upgrading an old Coleman cooler and got these on their recommendation. Worked great. Left the cooler outside and no animals messed with it. Also helped keep the closure tight so the ice lasted longer.
