Arrived already filled which is nice. The stopper at the top comes out easily for refill. The mechanism works well and can be changed for courseness. They are well made and I think look good. My last set were a different design and lasted for ages

Best pepper grinder ever.

I originally wanted something like this because I sometimes want a fine grind for white peppercorns. It's not cheap, but it does exactly what I want. It's easily adjustable to vary the grind from coarse to fine. The coarsest grind is like cracked pepper. I have arthritic wrists, and it's light to 'twist', except on it's very finest setting which is not a problem because its finest setting is like dust! I've since bought another for black pepper and a salt mill (which seems to be exactly the same as the pepper mill). They're a pleasure to use and I'm really pleased with them.

Ayant utilisé différents moulin soit à poivre, soit pour sel, bien souvent la meule ne permettait pas d'avoir une mouture fine et régulière ou bien ne résistait pas longtemps à l'usage défini.J'ai donc cherché et trouvé ce modèle d'origine UK, permettant avec un seul modèle de moudre aussi bien du poivre, du sel et même du café ..Les meules sont en céramique, avec 12 niveaux de réglage, et en cas de problème ( usure ou casse ) le remplacement est assuré.J'utilise du sel SEL ROSE de l'HYMALAYA et également du SEL BLEU de PERSE, qui sont conditionnés en très gros cristaux ( 5mm ), ce moulin permet donc une mouture fine et régulière de ces différent sels.J'en suis très satisfait et possède actuellement 4 moulins de ce modèle.Je vous recommande vivement ce matériel.

Looks good on the table and performs well even on a fine setting which I prefer. So far it has stood up well to frequent use and long may it continue - better than other cheaper metal grinders I have used in the past and definately worth it.
