you can't hang it such that it hits the floor, as one would expect for a measuring marking system (everyone i know measures height from the floor). instead you must figure out how to hang such that it hangs 6" from floor because it starts measuring at 6". disappointed that we put it up right away, but didn't notice until we had marked in permanent marker that we measured the incorrect height. so now its wrong and we must buy another one.

I bought this for my daughter and she said it looked cheap. I never saw it so can't really review it. sent it back
