Not sure if it was a mistake, or just poor design, but the chains I received were considerably too large. I double checked my tire measurements, and everything was spot on. I ended up removing one of the horizontal chains, and three or four links. I can also say when I was cutting with a hacksaw whatever the alloy is is super cheap. I'm guessing these are China made, as China tends to be known for super cheap alloys. Would not take much to break these. Wonder if they will rust fast as well?At best I would give these two stars. I should've just sent them back, but I'm up in Alaska and we had 20+ inches of snow along with freezing rain, and standard snowblower just would not get through. Even with chains there still is considerable slippage, but better than stock. I have a very aggressive knobby tires, so chains don't offer a huge improvement, but some.I guess for the price they represent a decent value, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. If you think you're just going to attach these in 10 minutes or so, think again. I was working at five below zero for a good hour. I was definitely not impressed I had to modify them so much to work.Again, if I really did not need them so badly I would have sent them back. Overall poor quality materials, and what's the point of having a custom-made chain, when the dimensions are so far off?
