Fixed my Viking 3 series whatever it is.Evap coil in the freezer was freezing up so that air couldn’t pass over it and into the fridge portion. Used a heat gun to melt the ice and found the old thermostat had a bump on the top indicative of failure.Popped this on and we were back in business.

I am a DIY person but not on refrigerators. This replacement was an easy one thanks to help from Youtube postings.

Got this item today. It looks like it was not handled carefully. Package has a hole. Opened it and the product seems intack. I concern how long would it last. It seems like it fell on the pave and got stepped on because even the manufacturer's packaging has indentation of pavement. I'll test it out. I wish they will do a better job on packaging.
