I thought I would use this for beading bracelets, but the trays are so tight in the pockets that when I tried to remove them, they would bend and then bend back....popping.... sending beads everywhere. I haven't used it for diamond painting and think it would be a great tool to have 6 different colors out at a time. Just be aware of the possibility of a pop when removing the trays from the surrounding tray. For transporting, I can see the snugness of the trays in their pockets being necessary.

This is a little bigger than the one I purchased before from another website. However, still works the same. My diamonds are in the bottles in the circles and I pour them in the tray so I can easily access the colors I need. Great organizer and makes diamond painting go by quicker and easier. Which makes for a better experience. I would recommend for all painters.
