My go-to rear view mirror for foam helmets. The shaft from the mount to the mirror itself has an I-beam cross section, which minimizes vibration, and the fact that it has a removable velcro mount, allows it to be removed from the helmet when being transported, thus minimizing damage.

Mirror is smaller than the last two i tried, but this one worked much better. Able to easily adjust but at the same time, mirror stays in whatever position you set it in.I would buy again

I have used helmet-mounted rear-view mirrors for cycling for over twenty years. I find that most tend to rattle around and move out of place when doing high-speed descents, or when putting the helmet on prior to a ride, requiring frequent readjustment. I purchased the Third Eye Foam Helmet Mount Bicycle Mirror a few months ago and have been quite pleased. I cleaned the mirror attach point on my helmet visor with alcohol, peeled the sticky side of the attaching Velcro, and firmly pressed it onto the helmet. Next, I firmly pressed the mirror side of the Velcroed attachment on to the helmet and tried it out. The mirror does all that one would expect it to. The image is clear, there is no rattling or bouncing, and the thing really stays in place. Last month I completed a 1,250-mile bike tour with this mirror, and it performed flawlessly. I don't recall having to readjust it when putting the helmet on in the morning after having taken it off and pitching it into my tent the previous evening. The mirror stayed in position during and following high-speed descents and it really stuck to its mount on the helmet. The durability of materials seems fine thus far and the mirror is a keeper for me. With this success I will replace some of the other-branded mirrors on my other bike helmets.

This product would have worked fine if it were a little bit longer. Although it mounted fine and was clear (I have no idea what they mean by sheerness) but because the arm that holds the mirror was so short, I couldn't mount it on the helmet so that it was more in front of my vision. So instead of a quick glance, I had to really turn my eyes to see it, resulting in eyestrain. I removed it and replaced it with another brand with a longer arm.

Unusable, poor quality. I am unable to get a field of view from mounting it on either side of my helmet. The product It’s made of cheap plastic that is in no way durable at all. The design does not allow for any practical rear or side view. The mirror is undersized and cheap with a poor viewing radius. Aside from the product being lite weight. I find it has no rewarding qualities. Thank You

I highly recommend this product, it is low cost and easy to use. This mirror mounts well to the helmet but the Velcro like material sent to mount it are unsatisfactory, tearing apart while mounting. I replaced the pads with Velcro hook and loop and it worked fine. The short leg of the mount needs to be longer and wider to stick better and provide two points of contact with Velcro. The long distance ability to see vehicles and bikes is superior to other mirror's I have tried, the swivel arm and mirror bracket gives a wide set of adjustments to suit the rider.I bought two, mirrors one for my helmet and one for the grandson who is eleven and he learned to use it fast. This is my third, third eye helmet mounted mirror.

Well, I thought it was going to work, but then I put it on with my winter riding hat under the helmet. I could not get it adjusted into my field of view. The arm just didn't move down enough. When I thought I would try it for my summer helmet, the Velcro came off the helmet instead of the Velcro strips coming apart, so the mount didn't seem very durable. The arm seems like a cheap plastic, so I questioned the durability anyway.I think I'll be returning this.

Consistent with other reviews, I found that the Velcro attachment method resulted in direct contact pressure of the mounting bracket with my head. Not good. Furthermore, the Velcro is so stiff that it is nearly impossible to separate without ripping the pad off the helmet. This makes the Velcro attachment method pretty much useless.Taking a cue from the other reviewers, I removed the Velcro pad from the mounting bracket, cleaned it and the helmet well, then proceeded to use hot glue to mount the mirror. This, my friends, works great and is quite secure. It took me a few rides to get used to the mirror; I used to use a bar-end mirror on my road bike. But once I got used to it, it works quite well. This mirror allows me to keep my eyes on the road. It also allows me to view behind me even when I'm standing on the pedals, hammering up hills.
