If you’re even looking at this timing chain kit, you already know it’s not because you’re having a great day. That said, this kit did exactly what it was supposed to do. Everything fit like it should, including the water pump, and the parts seemed solid right out of the box. No weird surprises, no missing pieces, and my engine is running way quieter now. It’s the kind of repair that isn’t glamorous, but you sure notice when it’s not done right—and this one was spot on.The only real downside is that this job is not for the faint of heart. It’s a serious install if you’re doing it yourself, so plan on blocking off a weekend (and possibly questioning your life choices once or twice). But as far as the kit itself goes, no complaints—just good, sturdy parts that got me back on the road.
