There’s zero markings on this throw out bearing. I’ve personally never seen a temkin product not marked . So I’m suspect of it really being temkin If it’s not laser engraved is it really truly temkin? Feels a little gritty in the bearing itself . Idk probably will use it because it’s here but I know the quality of materials doesn’t look as good as what I’ve seen from temkin in the past. It did come in a temkin box but that’s easy enough for someone who uses temkin bearings at work to save and swap new bearings of another MFG into. No temkin markings on the plastic bag either .I may call temkin tomorrow and see if they sellAny bearings not engraved because I just used one the same part number I bought direct from temkin and IT WAS engraved Should be up to Amazon to police it’s products and be sure they are legitimate .Also did not work for my application , bearing was too short even though Amazon checked for application needed longer style bearing. Like hays or center force

Worked perfectly on chevy 235 to T5 set up. You have to adjust the clutch lever pivot out about 1/3"- then its absolutely perfect. Clutch feel is perfect- working Great.

Not quite sure where the Timken company had this unit made but there was no identifying markings on the unit. Could be Chinese as far as I know, a little concerned because once installed it's a major job to replace. When using a heavy duty pressure plate @ #1700 you need the best bearing possible. I will be reconsidering whether I install this unit.
