First time really hand sewing . I am a machine sewer , not hand sewer and ended up using fabric glue for the sequins. I think it turned out pretty good for my first hand sewn project . Wish I would have stuffed it better and I also cheated and used my embroidery machine for the name .

The instructions were clear. And most the felt was not printed, except the really large pieces. And I really like that paper templates were included to cut out the smaller pieces. I can quickly scan the templates and use them later to make other stockings without having to buy additional kits.The materials sent were good. I wasn’t sure about this brand but happy I tried it. Have already bought more from them. And the price is more reflective of what a kit should cost. The top selling brand is just insane on how much they charge. Would highly recommend this item and maker.

I love this stocking kit! There were a few missing items that I had to go buy that the instructions said were included in the package. Needles being one item that was missing and black thread being the other. Other than that the instructions were very clear and the pattern was relatively easy. Some pieces I used fabric glue to attach the pieces to the front of the stocking.

I loved the picture on this stocking so I had to get it for such a decent price. All items are included (I have extra left over from previous kits anyway). I would recommend these for someone who is making one for the first time - more expensive ones can always be purchased later.

I bought this because I was tired of Bucilla kits with their 3 sheets of instructions. I thought this couldn't be any worse. I do like the fact that it has only two very simple instruction sheets. However, one of those sheets is mostly pattern pieces, which you have to place on the felt and cut out . Having done stockings before, I knew the large felt was the back of the stocking, but newbies wouldn't know that and may have to go out and buy another large felt piece. I don't understand why they couldn't print the pattern pieces on all of the felt. They printed them on the red and tan colored pieces, but not the white, green, and yellow. Very odd. Their instructions for swing on the skinny tube beads are inadequate...they simply say "deocrate"(sic) the cookie with the beads. Using what stitch? What color of thread? I don't know because the instructions don't say.
