I was looking for a drum I could play while standing and moving, that had a decent sound. The sound on this one is acceptable - just barely, but acceptable. But what really bugs me is the workmanship is so shoddy, and it didn't need to be. The decorative bands are just that - bands. They just needed to be put on straight - but they weren't so the drum looks really 3rd rate, and it didn't need to. On the upside it is SUPER light and easy to play, for a long time, while standing and moving

i thought i am buying a new drum, it look used, what's going on? the surface is uneven color, look like a used drum

Lightweight, predictable sound even when it's humid. Loud and crisp - great for the drum circle. Haven't had to tune it, I like the sound. Has a pleasant base note (especially in a small room)
