This is a well built unit. Make sure you watch the assembly video on Amazon for this unit as it will explain many areas that are hazy in the assembly manual. For example, when installing the Pentagon screws, do not tighten at this stage of assembly. Next step is to insert the C-clamp and if the pentagon screws are tightened in the previous stage it makes this step very difficult to do. Once the C-clamps are installed, tighten the pentagon screws. Another item is with the foot tubes. Two of them contain the interface to hold the rear suction cups, but they are not identified. To find which ones go on the rear of the assembled unit, remove the end foot rubber pieces until you find the foot tubes with the interface and install the larger suction cups on those tubes. The rest of the assembly is fairly simple.This is a very solidly built unit and should serve the user for many years.

So, I got another product from this manufacturer and thought it was great, but these rails, while they function, have a couple of issues. First, the good: they’re light, highly adjustable, and padded nicely. Mostly the bad comes from the legs. You see those suction cups there? They’re supposed to screw in, but all four legs look exactly the same with these unremovable rubber cups on the end and I can’t get them to screw in to any of them. There’s no indication of which might be intended to be the screw legs, and in the instructions it just says to install them on the legs. It also mentions that there should be “two extra” suction cups in the box (totaling four) but I only received two. The result is that they’re still usable, but kind of wobbly and a lot less stable than they would be with the cups to attach them to the floor so I don’t quite trust them. I’ve gotten good stuff from this manufacturer before that didn’t have these issues, and it looks like they have another model that’s higher rated, so I’d say go with that one instead.

Don’t hesitate to purchase this toilet safety rail. It was easy to assemble and there are adjustments to make the rails wider and higher. Someone mentioned in a review that the suction cups did not fit. I had no issue removing the black end cap and screwing in the two cups, one on either side in the back. After a recent full knee replacement, it’s has been a God send . I can put my full body weight on it and know that it’s study. My husband who weighs 250lbs has been using it as well because of back issues. It does not put pressure on the toilet set like others. Fully satisfied!!!!

This item is great, once it is put together. It comes with many parts. The instructions are basic and incomplete. My friend, who is good at constructing things, put it together in fifteen minutes. It would have taken me much longer. Strong hands are needed to shove the rubber feet at the bottom of the front legs. Either suction cups or rubber feet go on the back legs. The item is adjustable every which way. That was good for my toilet, which has a half wall on the open side. The rail had to slip into a very narrow space, and it did. .The finished rail was sturdy.

This toilet rail helper for injured, disabled, or elderly people is very well made, fully adjustable for a person’s height, the size of the toilet, has different feet for the bottom of the unit for different floorings, including heavy duty suction cups so it will not move. It has padded hand rails, and a toilet paper holder built right on it. It is strong enough for most people of any size to be held up steadily without it bending or breaking. It offers tremendous support for pushing up on it, pulling on it as someone works their hands up to the top if they have limited mobility as my husband had when he got home from the hospital after suffering a devastating infection that weakened every part of his body. It also helped him work on his PT exercises as he stood in one place, because it is so much stronger than either of the 2 walkers he has here at home. This is a safe, extremely strong, well made product and worth getting if needed. I just wish it had come a little faster.

Very nice & functional product! I have rheumatoid arthritis & have trouble standing up & sitting down on the toilet & don’t want to ask someone to come in there to help me down or up. (How embarrassing that would be) So this is a life saver. All of my joints swell but when my knees swell I can barely walk, let alone bend up or down. I would struggle to pull myself up & I would have to just “fall” back basically when sitting. This is amazing!It wasn’t hard to put together. It fits in my bathroom great. It’s sturdy and durable. Now I can hold onto it & sit down slowly & easier & standing up with this product is SO HELPFUL!! I am VERY satisfied & I highly recommend this product!! Whether it is for your parents or for an elderly person, or for when you have a surgery, etc. this is worth it & helps a person have some sort of independence back. I’m so happy I got this.
