This thing is CHEAP, its whines, its hisses, its obnoxious and I wish I would have returned it. It'll make noise for you and I found wires with it but I was scared every second it would shriek out of control.

Had a porch light that stopped working. Traced the electrical line through the plaster-lath walls from the porch light, and found a loose splice in an intermediate wall box. Solved my mystery cheaply and quickly!
