I had my doubts about just how secure this little device would be, but it was confidence inspiring enough for me to use on my lifted F250. It's especially useful when I need to quickly access the slide in camper roof but don't want to drag out my telescoping ladder. I keep it in my passenger door pocket for quick access. It's a useful, compact tool to have around.

This thing will ruin your day. It does not stay secure to the hook. When I stepped onto the side step, it was enough jostle to come off the hook and took a tumble and damaged my paint. I wish I can get these guys to pay for the damage but you know that won’t happen.

I had seen these several times but never was able to try them. Got one set and man I absolutely love these. We frequently go camping and carry gear on our vehicles and standing on a seat to try and reach the roof and not fall off the vehicle isn't ideal. These are really helpful. This is heavy duty and easy to use, the lower piece easily collapses and folds out of the way for storage. I have no concerns standing on this, it feels really secure, so secure I think I'm more concerned about the striker loop on the door jam failing and not this. Wish I had a few of these decades ago.

This is perfect for getting to the roof top of my small SUV. I am very short, and I barely come to the top of the roof. With this, I was able to put a roof top luggage bag on with out any assistance from anyone.

This step is Solid, well made and super easy to use.Simply attach the hook into the hook on your car and let the feet rest. It automatically adjusts if you pull up to make sure the step is parallel with the ground. I tried on multiple vehicles and it worked in all of them.It is solid and made from quality metal and there is no give when using. It would easily support the listed weight.I also like that it folds up to be small so it can be stored right inside the car.

Got this for my wife's car to help her reach her roof cargo basket. She's nowhere close to the 400lb limit on this, but it's shown no signs of giving in to weight. Easy to stow and easy to attach! Also easy to loan to another car for temporary use as it's not a permanent hookup.

I’ve had a roof basket on my van for years and didn’t know these existed, until now. Before when I put stuff in the roof basket I would just use a small ladder step on the seat. Now I don’t have to do either. I just keep this in the door pocket and pull it out when needed. It’s heavy duty and feels safe and secure, price isn’t too bad either.
