Pretty poor product. $25 for a blaster box with no guaranteed auto or #’d card is not worth it. Most of these players are no names or won’t make the league. The only way to get your money back is if you luck into getting either multiple cooper Flagg base cards, or an auto of a legit talent.

Solid Prospect Product with Flashy Chrome AppealThe 2024-25 Bowman University Chrome Basketball Blaster Box delivers an exciting and visually appealing experience for collectors, especially those focused on the future stars of basketball. With Topps continuing to build momentum in the college sports card space, this product does a great job highlighting top prospects before they make their leap to the NBA.One of the biggest draws is the “1st Bowman” branding on many of the cards. For prospectors, this is a huge deal—pulling an early card of a future draft pick or standout player has major long-term potential. The Chrome finish adds a premium feel to the cards, with great color, sharp design, and a slick look that pops right out of the pack. Each blaster also comes with exclusive parallels, like Black Wave refractors, that give a nice sense of variety and excitement during a rip.The inserts are fun and well-designed, ranging from game-style breakdowns to more creative, themed cards. They add a little extra personality to the set and help break up the standard base card pulls. The checklists include many recognizable college programs and rising names, so there’s a good balance between well-known schools and fresh talent.That said, this product isn’t perfect. Autographs and low-numbered parallels are tough to hit in blaster format. If you’re chasing big hits, the odds aren’t great, and it might leave some collectors wanting more. Also, like many Bowman products, there can be a bit of repetition between boxes if you're opening multiples.Still, for the price point, this is a fun rip that offers a lot of upside for those patient enough to hold onto prospect cards. Whether you’re a college hoops fan or just love speculating on the next big thing in the NBA, this blaster box is a strong option.Final Verdict: A solid 4-star product—high potential, strong design, and great for collectors who enjoy following young talent, even if the hit rate on autos and rare cards is relatively low.
