I purchased two sets of 10 straps. I put them on Thursday night due to expecting 7 to 10 inches of snow on Friday morning, and we did. I left the house to work only to to find that all 20 of them was gone.Very disappointing. Wasted time and money on this mess. Please do not purchase these tie straps. They are for trash bags not tires!

Against poor reviews I tried these for my cars standard low-pros in anticipation for the weeks freezing rain forecast. As described they broke in hand. What remained didn't last going around the block at 6mph. Better stick with the hardware store zip-ties over these.

First one broke as I was trying to install it (by hand). Not a good sign, but since I had extra, I considered it a fluke and installed the rest, no problem. Hindsight, I should have stopped there and returned them.I put these on my fat tire bicycle and they broke before I got to the end of my 20ft driveway! I literally didn’t even have a chance to pedal, just rolled with gravity and every single one snapped on first contact with the ground. There is no way these will work on a car. The plastic is simply too brittle. If you’re looking for snow traction, find a different option, unless you want to throw away $25 like I did. Lesson learned, so installed studded tires. These are clearly one time use, and I’m not sure you’ll even get a single use out of them. I sure didn’t.

These are not very useful. Here in Cleveland we got 15 inches of snow yesterday. A van got stuck in front of our house and my wife and I went out to help. I had these "chains" in my car, so I gave them to the van's owner. They put them on, and went to pull away, and all of the bands broke. The silver lining is that now I know not to rely on this product and to search for a product that actually works. Still out $20, though...
