I've had three Tough 1 jellies arrive stiff as bricks. They have been in the warehouse too long. They do no good this stiff. Cant put your hand in and too stiff and shallow teeth to actually curry any dirt off without causing skin damage.

This is a great grooming tool! My hand fits comfortably into it. It is flexible enough for grooming all areas on my horse. This one is slightly more stiff than similar ones I've had in the past, but still flexible enough.

Tough 1 always makes great products and this is no exception. It's comfortable and easy to use. The 2 sides give you the option to do a light curry or a deeper one. Flexible, easy to clean, easy to use and very versatile. I've owned these in the past and they hold up well over time. Tough 1 makes a great product at a reasonable price and it really does last considering the price!

I had bought scrubbers like this before in store but this one is too stiff to use on any of my horses and it's even hard to put my hand in it.

I usually like this brand but this product is super hard. It works but again it is hard enough that I feel bad using it on my guy. I have used other Jelly curry combs and they were no where near this hard.

I bought this thinking it would replace the jelly scrubber that was misplaced. This is NOT one of those scrubbers you can use on your horse's face or legs! The plastic is very stiff... maybe if you wore it down for a about a year it might be. I went to return it and Amazon told me to keep it, so I've been using it as a curry comb and it DOES lift up dirt and dander pretty well and it's easy to clean, so props there!

This is the best grooming tool I have in my kit. I had second thoughts about using it after reading some reviews stating that it was hard and stuff, but I haven't found that to be true at all. Mine bends with my hand and the fine-toothed side is awesome for getting deep into the coat and grooming out mud. It also worked great on grooming my horse's tail without pulling any of the hairs out!A lot of the reviews ALSO stated that this tool is too harsh for horses with sensitive skin, but I own a very sensitive-skinned thoroughbred and he did nothing but relax and chew as I groomed him using this scrubber. It got him more clean than I've ever been able to get him with a traditional rubber or plastic curry (both of which he's flinched away from in the past). The best part about this curry is that when it's dirty (or full of hair during shedding season), you can just throw it on the ground and spray it with a hose to clean it. I honestly can't recommend it enough.
