My TrakMotive axle is faulty (RF axle for a 2006 Honda Ridgeline.) After installing it, I noticed a severe vibration while merging onto the highway, under hard acceleration. I removed it, and reinstalled the old Honda CV axle, and the vibration was gone. I should've spent a few more dollars and at least bought from the Cardone brand. Maybe I just have a lemon, but things like this give me unnecessary grief. (I've got better things to do rather than replace a CV axle outside in winter, on a cement parking pad.)*Note that I replaced the axle, because the old one had a torn open CV boot. You can replace just the boot, but it's faster and more cost effective in the long run to replace the axle with a new complete one. (This way you get all new boots, and new joints.)
