The aluminum portal covers mating surfaces to the steering knuckle fit well. they look nice so got them. the issue is the bearings float and allow hammering out the bearings. metal capable of the pressures but the bearings float due to dimensioning issues. bearings need be snug in the bearing seats. since installing these portal covers despite the bearings floating in them the plastic OEM knuckles hammered out the big bearings and must be replaced so bearing fit has got my attention and I wont use new housings with loose bearings again. will try to return the treal metal portal covers.
