it does fit but is very loose on the shaft.

I bought this to replace a worn out gear box on a Troy Bilt TB575EC trimmer and it works but it did not include the top two screws so I used the ones that I took off the old gear box but they were too long so they did not snug the top portion of this gear box to the trimmer shaft. It works but you can tell it's loose at the top. Which the company would have included the top two screws. Not happy with this replacement part. Would not recommend as a replacement part for a Troy Bilt TB575EC.
