I have an older (like 2013) Moen Haysfield pull down kitchen faucet with the hidden thread aerator, and have been unable to unscrew the head to get to the aerator. Found a recommendation to get this tool to unscrew it. It worked perfectly!! It's a solid little tool and I used the Junior size on it and it was easy to unscrew.

East to use. Very solid. Might want to check that it the right device for your application. Although it was supposed to be for minne based on pic and description, it did not fit. otherwise it seems like a good part and price was comparable to locally sourced one.

I had no idea you needed something like this to unscrew recessed faucets. Bought a pack of the plastic ones but couldn’t find a good fit. This metal one has various sizes plus a straight edge that you can fit in the aerator notches if the sized sides don’t fit. Just be careful not to “bend” the plastic notches on the aerator.

It's the right tool for the job but the faucet screen must be completely clean of any build up.

You know those things they put on your taps that restrict the water flow but you cannot remove them? This little item can remove them so you can put a regular sprayer on your tap and get lots of water pressure.

I saw a lot of reviews saying this was for Moen faucets. I ran into this gadget looking for Sloan recessed aerator removal tool. The faucet I had to remove the aerator from is a goosenecked, automated medical faucet and where I work/ live has ridiculously hard water. So, once I got the gadget, it worked. But, trying to get a look from underneath and getting the aerator to start moving took a lot of contortion. I also used CLR to get some of the crud off of the threads. And remember whenever you're removing an aerator,' lefty-loosey' is from the perspective of under the faucet. So, turn right. I hate plumbing.

We have a Moen Kurv One-Handle pulldown faucet and reading the other reviews and pictures it looked like the right tool needed for ours. Well it was and so happy we can now remove and clean when necessary. We have water softener for well water, however it still gets dirty from the rusty water so needs cleaned once to twice a year. Great purchase and thank you for the other reviews which are super helpful!

Had to file off the tits on the edges, otherwise it would not fit to remove the aerator. Once filed, worked out fine and was easy to remove. My aerator is flush with the faucet head, hence the issue.
