Fit into my '78 460 no problem. Timing is dialed in to a bump start and runs great. Be sure to check that the roll pin is in place before you try to install.

This distributor is fantastic quality great machined housing and even solid brass terminals installed it in a ford 351 to replace an msd distributor and ignition box and the car runs way better and smoother there isn't any comparison just basically drop it in and hook up the batt wire and start it up will buy again for other engines

Had no problem installing to a 460 engine. Made a difference in power and replace my 32 old Dura spark that was ageing ignition system.
