The diameter of the part was .003 to .0035 in. too large to fit the stock GM power steering pump. I had the stock GM valve to reference, so that's a pretty accurate measurement. I used my lathe to sand down the areas of interference and got it to fit. I'm guessing that the anodize process adds some thickness - or else the manufacturing process just has poor quality control. I'm waiting for one more part to get the car running so I can see if I like the lower pressure.
