I'm not sure how I feel about these. On the one hand I live in Texas and the idea of breathable mesh half chaps for my daughter in the brutal Texas sun was appealing. The concept is nice. But I followed the TuffRider sizing chart to a "T" and ordered the size I thought would work. It was a little snug on the calf, but more importantly, the strap on the bottom would not fit over her Saxon brand lace up paddock boots. Frankly, I'm not sure it would fit over any boots! We tried and tried from every angle but the strap just wouldn't budge and had very little stretch.I will try a size up and come back to edit, but I am not hopeful.

The leg size is great but the bottom does not fit over a riding boot. This would only work without a boot.
