I don't know where the 2.3 star rating comes from but these things rock i have a pair and they kicked the shit out of a pair of EKX's we borrowed to add to a job and they couldn't keep up and those are ìmore than half again the price...Now granted the m18s are band pass opposed to a straight front firing...The only gripe I had and notice I said had was that there is no x-over adj. only a variable boost but after using them there is no need they do an amazing job x-over at I think and don't quote me 125hz so for 799 a peice there is no such thing as in it's a fairy tale that there are better powered PA subs anywhere from any company in the world than these thanks TurboSound for a great product!!!!Now and I can't wait to be able to afford 6 more 18b's with 8 matching Milan M15 mains I figure with that I could providesound to any medium small to small band in my area

I can't express how amazing this subwoofer is, I know that it's build quality is by far the best I have ever seen. Yes it is a bit heavy. But it produces the cleanest, hard hitting, earth rumbling sound. If your looking for a amazing product with a long life span then this is the subwoofer for you!

I've had the Milan for about a month, using it pretty regularly. The sound is very tight. This sub sounds wonderful with two Mackie Thump15s. I can't speak to longevity yet, but if the sub is still performing in a couple years, I'll post another review.

All i can say is i bought 2 of these and they out preform 4 jbl prx618s. They produce deep, hard hitting, tight bass and they are built like a tank.I have ran sound and played music most of my life from gospel to rock and roll and these subs are the best i've used.

I used this subwoofer 8 hours of continues full power and it doesnt create any problems at all. Perfect for techno music gigs
