Installation Steps
Step 1
Install the screw and nut on the fixed plate and tighten (do not tight completely.) install the fixed plate to the adjustable plate by sliding the screw kit into the groove of the adjustable plate.
Step 2
Install the hose on the coupler, then attach the coupler to the plates. Match the coupler with the end of the plate and snap it into place.
Note: The exhaust hose is not included with this item.
Step 3
Attach the exhaust hose to the coupler on the portable air conditioner.
Step 4
Adjust the length to the window and insert it into place. After installing the plate kit, use the included tape to seal the gap between the window and the adjustable plate.

Sturdy materials, and the adapter fits securely onto both the window portion and the flexible tubing. Markedly better than the adapter that came with the portable AC unit. I wish that I had switched years ago, as it's much less frustrating to use.

Let's just start with if you are looking for a vent kit make sure that you do not have a window ledge because it looks in the picture that it is kinda bent so that it would work with a window seal, but it is not bent to a point so it would clear. I bought this for a dryer and with the thick plastic it does not even get hot with a 850 watt dryer. The reasoning for the 3 star is because it does not fit with a window seal and the vent is really loose and when mounting it there was no screws to attach the vent itself.----update ----After speaking with the support with HVAC & Auto Parts/TURBRO. They had sent a new one. they are easy to talk to and was willing to replace the item. I brought it to 5 stars because the support team reached out to me.
