I didnt realize it was plastic. For the price I expected it to be metal and should have read more. My fault. But the plastic is okay quality,, as far as plastic goes.

I bought one of these tools many, many years ago and really liked it. I recently lost it and because I missed having it so much, I decided it was time to buy another. There are a bunch of knock-offs but I wanted the same brand as I originally had, so bought this one. Apparently it's made of plastic now, not the brass or aluminum or whatever my lost one is. I am very disappointed with this discovery. The product description actually says it's plastic so I only have myself to blame. I should have read the reviews.Although I plan to keep it, I'm not happy with my purchase decision. It looks and feels cheap, and I expect the ferrule shaper legs to get broken off at some point while bouncing around in my bag; they don't feel very strong.The product photo shows the label I remember from my lost tip tool, but the item I got is different. See attached photo for comparison.I give it two stars because the quality of the plastic tool is poor.

If I could give it no stars I would. The tip shapers are made of sandpaper that are glued in. Literally the worst tip tool I e ever bought.
