It regularly gets stuck and requires some extra force to open up. It's not the most sturdy of foot supports, but it's still better than using a stack of books. It works but if you want something good spend some more money on a different one.

I honestly didn't expect much based on the price. I bought this to go with a stool and it's the perfect height. Helps to take pressure of the back and improve playing posture. Collapses flat to about 1.25 inches. Going to buy 2 more - one for each of my kids.

Well constructed, sturdy, easy to use and a big difference while playing guitar, but it's flawed. There is a sheet of synthetic rubber on the foot plate that off-gases very strong chemical smells. I've had it for a couple of months and it still smells. The smell has subdued over the time, but I cannot leave it out in the living room or near my bed. Maybe in a couple more months the off-gassing will cease and I can use this as I please.

excellent product I use it every Sunday while I am sitting on my stool and playing guitar at church. Really helps to relieve pressure off of my legs while sitting on the stool

not bad. BUT, to high for my 7 year old son. He can't get the hight needed with this. He is a bit jumpy and this stand kicks over with the slightest of "his" foot movement. He no longer uses it. He sits on a smaller chair instead and that works great.

Not much to say but it's a good foot stool, ultimate support makes good products and this is one of the them. It's very sturdy, the frame is rigid and not flimsy.
