Don’t waste your money on this. I tied it out and ended up throwing it in the trash within the first couple of days.

You get what you pay for. I tried jewelry and my glasses. Nothing happened. I added a bit of dish detergent as suggested. No luck. I even tried to pre clean my jewelry. Nothing. Don’t waste your money.

I don't think I was expecting much from this little guy. Having no experience with a machine like this, I didn't want to spend a lot. I also wanted something that didn't rely on chemical cleaner. While I'm not positive the blue light is doing anything other than making me feel like it is real science, I am really pleased with the results. A few of my sterling pieces had gone so black I wasn't wearing them. A few minutes at a time in this machine with tap water and then a wipe with a sueded jewelry cloth, and the results are amazing. I was not super hopeful when I pulled out the first piece - it looked almost worse than when it went in - but I guess the "stuff" had loosened and after wiping it down well, everything was off and I've worn that one piece twice this week as a result. The machine has suction cup feet - make sure you fasten them tightly because the vibration does cause it to dance around. Upone removal of the jewelry, you will see little specks on the bottom - all that gunk was in your jewelry. I initially got this thinking if it was promising, I'd probably invest in a "better" machine - but I'm thinking I wont need one. This is working well enough - if it does not last long, then I will level up, but since I really only plan on "touch ups" I think this will do for a while. One note - I am uncertain about how to charge it yet - it did arrive fully charged with a short cord that has an odd end - no visible port on the machine, so I assume it is under the screw on battery cover - this seems very inconvenient, so I am hopeful the charge lasts a while - the cord is short with a USB end, so I'm not sure what this is going to look like when the time comes. Unfortunately, the directions are very vague about use - and there is NOTHING on the booklet about charging at all. I'm willing to live with it for the price.
