Got this as a present for the SO, and they use it all the time! Has many pocket for all the kitchen utensils.Only strife is the fabric is a bit thin which is not what we were expecting.

I really like this apron and it is very well built. It has plenty of pockets (big and small) and the tie for the waist is nice and long. It is not a light apron (a review requirement was about lightweight) but this means it will protect you very well from heat, grease, sharp edges etc. make sure you tie it behind you back so you have access to all of the pockets as well.

First of all I like the material of construction and it's well made. I am 6' 2" in height and it works well in length, but my step-son whose 5'3" in height this apron is long. Just wish the manufacturers could make an apron in like a medium size. Also, I can see that the pockets would not hold up for holding knives as the knife would easily cut through the pocket stitching. Would be a good idea for the manufacturer to add a border of leather around the pocket edges if they intend for a knife to be stored in the pocket?

Just got this apron today. I'm 230lbs and it fits super comfortable. Material seems durable a d looks great. The pockets fits my digital thermometer great, tongs, and knife. Would recommend. I also got the forest green and was worried it would be bright as some of the pictures showed different shades but it is the perfect dark forest green

High quality, super durable. The pockets are great, I would've liked a larger pocket available but I get they're mostly for knives. As well it's a little long for me. I'm 5 9" and it comes down around my knee area. But otherwise, it's high quality and looks good.

I purchased this apron as a gift for my husband who is the Chef de Cuisine in a large hotel. He absolutely loves it and gets compliments on it whenever he wears it.We did have a issue with the clasp breaking. Not through faulty craftsmanship, but just because sometimes even new things break. Their customer service was excellent and they were able to send us a new clasp so my husband could continue to proudly wear his apron.The versatility of this apron to be used as a knife roll definitely comes in handy too. He is able to throw a couple of knives in it and take them safely to any kitchen he needs to work in and have his apron handy as well.I will definitely be ordering more colors for him.

Working in a small, usually crowded kitchen has always left me looking for any knife, so I decided to bring my personal knife roll in. Flash forward a few hours, I see one of my favorite (200$) knives soaking in a third pan with sanitizer. That was my breaking point...I was stuck wondering if I should just not use the knives at all (that I own specifically because of this type of thing) or keep them on me. Obviously, walking the line and unrolling and digging out the right knife was a bit ...excessive. Initially I just wanted an apron strong enough to hold my 10” chef knife, a paring knife and a serrated utility. As soon as I googled it, this apron was the first result. It is not only a knife saver, I gotta say, it really looks good (I can even skip the neck strap and use it as a bistro style). It’s tough, thickened where necessary and really not uncomfortable for what it is. My only reasoning for going a little lower in stars are solely the fact that it claims to be able to carry a whole knife roll, and wear it too. My usual roll only holds 5 knives, shears and a honer, which this does have all the necessary pockets and space, but is super hard to find a comfortable, functional way to keep them around me. Ultimately, it eliminates the knife roll function, because I have to bring the roll and the apron, and decide which knives are “apron worthy” for the night. It’s very comfortable, if used like this, but if marketed as a knife roll/ apron, I would hope I didn’t need an additional knife roll. I’m still 100% happy with my purchase, but I couldn’t give a full 5 solely because of this issue

Apron is very durable and well constructed. Canvas is heavy and will hold up to leaning over a commercial stove.I'm a food service director and spend a lot of time cooking or assisting on the line in my kitchen.My only constructive comments would be the apron is long/wide for someone 5'5" and 115 lbs, but I understand I'm not a majority.Also, the long, narrow pockets are great, just don't put anything shorter than the height in them. Operator error. They are very difficult to fish out.Product was true to color and feels high quality. Would recommend!

I purchased 4 knife roll aprons and 1 standard apron with the criss cross back. I absolutely love the knife roll aprons, durable, washed easily(which made them more losse) and the pockets are in perfect location for my knifes. The criss cross back one is perfect except for the criss cross back, I'm a large dude and it made my back fell like it was a tied up sausage! but if it had a regular the it would be perfect, witch I believe they sell. I look forward to having these aprons for many years, thank you!! ;)-~~

I’m on the line throwing down 10-12 hrs a day, six days a week. I’ve been in the industry for 23yrs. Seen a lot of products come and go throughout those years. This Aprin/Knife Roll is by far the first and best of its kind! I will be buying all my aprons from Under NY Sky for the rest of my career. Period! The canvas washes exceptionally wel. Stains come out great with proper laundry treatment and washing. The apron is big, comfortable, and loaded with pockets to fill as well as towel sashes. Top notch! I recommend any of these aprons to anyone serious about there game on the line as well as value for dollar.
