I bought this underbust corset for a LARP, not expecting much since it was only 15$ (CAD)... The item exceeded my expectations so much I had to write a review, lol! For a summary, skip to the bottom.I was expecting one of those faux corsets with the stretch fabric on the back - a costume item, hopefully with a front that looked enough like the picture to pass under my jackets. What I GOT was an actual underbust corset, with some actual form of boning and a metal busk and rivets for the front closure. The item was exactly as described and even came PROPERLY laced and tied off so that you can put it on yourself and tighten from the middle by pulling the loops. The only downside is that it's about an inch shy of the largest sizing (fully extended open) but that could just be a slightly shorter cord.Details: I'm usually a 22-24 US women's dress size, 22 on bottom and 24 on top mixed (I carry most of the weight around the middle). SO the fact that the size isn't perfectly in range, considering its from an international origin where the sizing is a lot different, I can't be too mad at it. My costume covers my back, so that also helps with the fact that it'll be extended all the way at the back. If you're a 22-24 like me, and you see a size 8xl, go for that one, but otherwise, if you're not picky about it closing at the back when tightened, it's a great find, esp. for the 15$ price!Summary:Pros - Exactly as pictured, with boning (flexible) and metal front closure sewn in, comes properly laced ready to wear. Cheap price, better than average costume item.Cons - Sizing can be a bit tricky, but if you're not picky about the back lacing being more wide-apart, its not a problem.
