I didn't know that this thing existed. Once I got it, I attached my reflex sight to it, and I knew where I was pointing the lens. Gone are the days where my other eye is blocked by the body of the camera where I would miss a shot if I didn't pay attention to the overall view. Mounting my sight was easy and is perfect in specs for the base clamp. Other than that, it's made very well with solid materials used. It's basically aluminum that's milled perfectly. There are no blemishes or imperfections on the mount at all. The anodizing is pretty clean as well. As for installation into your hot shoe, it's very easy where it slips on and off easily. It's held in place with a friction base nut where it's easily tightened and loosened by the twist of your fingers. Overall, this is a very high-quality mount for your reflex sight. It is solid and holds its position very well which makes this well worth it.

This is just what I needed. I like to shoot video of RC airplanes at my local club. Problem is, the sun sometimes makes it impossible to see the screen and track the plane. With this, I am hoping to put a red dot (or similar) on my camera to make tracking the plane easier in bright conditions. The mount itself is well made, fits perfectly and should do the job just fine.

The 20mm Picatinny rail is 2.1” (54.3mm) long.Fit & Finish: The product appear to be black anodized aluminum alloy. The finish is uniform and smooth without any rough or sharp edges. Quality knurling on the locking screw. The locking screw turns smoothly without binding or sticking. Overall, the fit and finish are excellent.Function: The product is easy to attach and use. It makes a secure, snug, repeatable fit with both hot shoes it was tested with. The standard 20mm Picatinny rail accepts a wide variety of optics for quick acquisition. The 40MAX Universal Camera Flash Hot Shoe to Picatinny Rail, Finderscope Mount is an excellent product. This is a hard to find low profile mount that allows you to mount a Finder scope on for quick acquisition of subject. It is extremely well-made. To tell you the truth. It's the nicest one I've seen so far. The machine work the fit and finish is very high-quality. I'm glad I found this one and I would highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic addition for any wildlife photographer! I put this on my Canon R5m2 when I am using my 200-800mm lens and attach an offbrand spotter scope with a much larger field of view and this allows me to much more quickly get on target.It's a bit lighter weight material than I expected but its very durable so I think its a plus in this situation.If anything changes within 1 year I will update this review.

I do a lot of photography and video work and experiment with all sorts of tech so an addon like this I couldn't help but try. Let me just say that its a very niche type piece and if you need it you will know and if you don't it might not even be worth looking at. For me I put it on this third party off brand digital camera because it has no viewfinder and I wanted to experiment with it. It works for me as a general reference tool and is sleek enough not to get in the way when I am not using it. The color, look, and feel makes it seems like it either came with the camera or was made for it as an aftermarket product. I have some other tech that I want to try it on and I think it will work for those projects as well. If you are someone like me who tinkers on this sort of stuff its worth a grab, especially at its relatively inexpensive price point.

I like how this fits on both a tripod and the hot shoe. It uses a well-knurled disc to help tighten it down, and the picatinny rail is solid. Nothing else to ask for. It's quite light and made with enough drillium to make it even lighter.

This is a clever little adapter that converts a cold shoe camera mount to a 20mm Picatinny rail. It’s especially useful for me since I already have a few Picatinny-mounted lights that work great as focus lights for photography. The build quality is excellent—well machined and solid in hand. A high-quality, niche solution that fills a very specific need perfectly.
