Wow this actually works. I put this on my motorized bike and it really gives me an accurate reading. I'm very impressed with the quality and this is definitely worth it.

This digital engine temperature meter is well-made. Clear and bright display, solid construction overall, and quality wiring. Very simple to install and works as it should. Accurate and consistent readings so far.Be advised that it does need a 12v power source which it has the wiring for. It just didn’t say in the product description. But simple to install. So far very happy with the quality and functionality of this digital temperature gauge!

I got this for my tractor with a temp gauge that just has a yellow-green- red dial, no numbers. The needle is always just below the red, and I had to get this to confirm that the temps are fine. I checked it in boiling water and the temp reading is spot-on. It also comes with a clip so that it can be attached to an air-cooled engine also. I think it's a good value, and I would buy it again.

I purchased a Chinese skid steer, and the temperature gauge for the hydraulic fluid was only in Celsius, and did not appear accurate. The sensor was easy to connect under a bolt on the hydraulic cooler, and the readout aligns with my infrared thermometer. It looks great and was easy to install with just a small hole in the gauge panel for the wire. I did make the hole a bit larger so I could install a split grommet to protect the wire from chafing with the engine vibration.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the picture doesn't show you need anything external 12v power supply. I wanted to put it on my generator and monitor the temperature while it runs. Problem is unless I plug one in to one of the plugs, there's no 12v supply. That goes along with a lot of other small engine stuff. I would rather change batteries than have an external power supply.It seems pretty accurate and fit on my spark plug.It certainly does what it claims but my only complaint is needing to provide an external power source.It certainly does help me monitor the head temperature which makes me feel better.
