I am reviewing Universal Toilet Flapper (2-Inch)The previous flapper was quickly being dissolved by a toilet cleaning product. I don't think this one is going anywhere!I was a little nonplussed when I removed the product from the box. It looks like something my dad made in the garage. The rainbow shaped parts are simply and roughly cut from simple starboard, or similar. The plug is a dense molded material shaped simply to lie atop of the water outlet. The chain is very lightweight but seems to be sturdy. Installation was too simple to rate checking the repair off of my to-do list. Just press the two ends onto the pegs and attach the chain to the lever.I don't hear any water seeping through. I can't imagine this thing being affected by any sort of cleaners, so that's it! Sometimes the most simple solution is the best. Kudos to the creator of this device.

This is a very thick plastic flapper. (Most are a thinner, more flexible Silicone or plastic). The rubber seats reasonably on the opening, at the toilet bowl. It is so thick and stiff, i had to ask a friend install it. It takes stronger hands to click it onto the toilet tube. Oddly, the chain broke almost immediately, so we just removed that link and section of chain. Still had plenty for the lever connecter. Overall, its a good product. I will update if any concerns.

I’d like to see the toilet this weird “universal” flapper supposed to fit. I have basic standard “Sterling” toilet and not only this flapper didn’t work.. there wasn’t even a way to attach it to begin with. This is definitely not a universal part. Very frustrating. Waste of time and money!

I just installed this flapper in my new toilet tank as it fits perfectly in sealing the bottom of it so the water will stop running once the tank is full.It is an innovative tank flapper and perfectly designed for its purpose.It comes with a chain to be attached to the handle of the toilet tank.
