If you’re looking to upgrade an old paper lamp this is the perfect one. I bought this to replace the paper shade which came with my lamp originally from Walmart because I wanted one with a nicer shape and longer length to diffuse more light. Paired with some colour bulbs this will create such a nice ambiance in whatever room you put this in.

I think my lamp is 20+yrs old - works fine but after relocating to 4 different apartments the rice paper lampshade was showing its wear & tear. Glad I found a simple solution online vs throw away a perfectly good lamp. I measured the old shade and the replacement shade was a perfect match (see photos).

We had a paper shade floor lamp that we got at IKEA a few years ago. The shade ripped and on a whim, I looked on Amazon. I didn’t even know if this was going to work. It fit perfectly. Highly recommend!
